Yvonne H Koepke, 86, Mount Prospect passed away after a short illness. . Yvonne was a humble, gracious and thoughtful woman with a zest for life and adventure. She had an infectious smile and soft warm laugh. She cherished quiet moments with friends and family and she enjoyed fellowship with all she met. She lived a full life and was an avid traveler. She visited The Vatican in Rome, Israel, and traveled extensively throughout the United States. She had a varied career with Alden’s Catalog and Spiegel’s Direct Order Catalog Companies. She most enjoyed her position as an Advertising Production Coordinator and was proud of her professional accomplishments.
She was an enthusiastic sports fan, loved supporting her Chicago Cubbies & truly enjoyed the spirit of the game. And she always enjoyed a good Packers / Bear football game.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents William & Lillian (nee Wisniewski) Koepke, Sister and Brother in Law Geraldine & Edward Urbanek; and Sister and Brother in Law Dolores & Claire Adams and niece Karen Stobel of Illinois. She is survived by nieces Carla Adams of Florida and Leslie Urbanek of California and Nephews Mark (Kathy) Adams of Wisconsin, and Michael Urbanek of Illinois.
Visitation Friday, June 10, 9:30 AM until Mass 10:30 AM at St Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd., (Rt. 83) at Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect. Interment Queen of Heaven.
